IMPORTANT DATES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION–
Wednesday, October 24th – Senior photo’s, activities and senior quotes are due (please email to email@example.com). Seniors need to complete the email survey that was sent to their school email on October 17th. Baby pictures are due by October 30th.
A Josten’s representative will be here at 7:30 am – 8:00 am on Tuesday, December 4th for students to order their cap/gowns and any other senior products. Seniors will be receiving in academic advisory a packet with all product information in the next few weeks. If a student is ONLY ordering cap/gown they do not pay anything at that time. This is paid directly to the school in May/June. Estimated cost for the cap/gown is $38.00.
Yearbook Orders – Please go to https://ybpay.lifetouch.com and enter School Code # 12983619. Yearbooks are on sale now until early spring. The cost does increase, so order early. Senior parent ads may also be places on the Lifetouch website. Deadline for parent ads is November 30th.
GRADUATION – Graduation will be held Sunday, June 9 at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are required for admittance to graduation. “Doors” will open at 12:30. Graduation will be held in the gym at Hampden Academy. Students need to report to the multi-purpose room at 12:30 p.m. In keeping with the tradition of Hampden Academy’s graduation, there will be no decoration to caps or gowns permitted. Breathalyzer tests may be conducted prior to graduation. Any student under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate in graduation. Inappropriate behavior during marching practice or during the Graduation Ceremony, may result in removal from the ceremony. All students must wear shoes.
Note: Please make all checks payable to Hampden Academy. If paying both graduation fees and class banquet, it is only necessary to make out one check.
BANQUET – June 5, 2019 – Morgan Hill Event Center, cost TBD.
GRADUATION FEE – Graduation Fee is $38.00 (estimate). The fee covers the cost of cap and gown. This amount must be paid before Wednesday, June 5th.
TICKETS FOR GRADUATION – Tickets for graduation will be given to students starting on Tuesday, May 28th, please see Mrs. Moore in the main office. Please check with your family prior to May 28th, to determine the number of tickets you will need. Each graduate receives up to 8 tickets for seating in the Gym.
ADDITIONAL TICKETS FOR GRADUATION – If a graduate needs more than 8 tickets they can request them from Mrs. Moore. After all graduates receive their tickets the remainder of the tickets are divided among those who need more at the end of the last marching practice.
SENIOR EXAM SCHEDULE – TBD – Graduates are expected to attend ALL classes each day, not just on exam periods.
SCHOLARSHIPS – Please read the following carefully: If any senior is awarded a scholarship s/he is reminded that detailed instructions for each scholarship are given in the envelope which is presented at graduation. Please read these instructions carefully, keep the instructions, and follow them your first year in college. Do not throw the instructions away in the excitement of graduation day.
