IMPORTANT DATES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR SENIORS
CLASS RING ORDER DAY – Jostens will be at Hampden Academy on Wednesday, October 30thfrom 7:30- 8:00 a.m. in the Dining Commons for any student wishing to order a class ring. Class Rings can be designed and ordered at any time at Jostens.com and be sure not to miss out on this year’s exclusive promotion for Hampden Academy Students. Packets are available in the main office.
YEARBOOK DEADLINE– Thursday, October 31st – Senior photo’s, baby photos, activities and senior quotes are due (please email to firstname.lastname@example.org). Seniors need to complete the email survey that was sent to their school email on October 18th.
A Josten’s representative will be here at 7:30 am – 8:00 am on Friday, February 7th for students to order their cap/gowns and any other senior products. Seniors will be receiving in academic advisory a packet with all product information a few weeks prior. If a student is ONLY ordering cap/gown they do not pay anything at that time. This is paid directly to the school in May/June. Estimated cost for the cap/gown is $40.00.
Yearbook Orders– Please go to https://ybpay.lifetouch.com and enter School Code # 12983620. Yearbooks are on sale now until early spring. The cost does increase, so order early. Senior parent ads may also be places on the Lifetouch website or contact Mr. Moore at email@example.com to place a parent ad.
Graduation– Graduation will be held Sunday, June 14th at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are required for admittance to graduation. “Doors” will open at 12:30.
Graduation will be held in the gym at Hampden Academy. Students need to report to the multi-purpose room at 12:30 p.m. Graduates need to enter through the back doors of the multi-purpose room. In keeping with the tradition of Hampden Academy’s graduation, there will be no decoration to caps or gowns permitted. Breathalyzer tests may be conducted prior to graduation. Any student under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate in graduation. Inappropriate behavior during marching practice or during the Graduation Ceremony, may result in removal from the ceremony. All students must wear shoes. Senior contracts will be handed out in Academic Advisory and must be signed and returned to Mrs. Moore by Monday, June 8th.
Note: Please make all checks payable to Hampden Academy. If paying both graduation fees and class banquet, it is only necessary to make out one check.
BANQUET – All seniors are welcome to attend the Senior Class Banquet held at the Morgan Hill Events Center on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. This event is for members of the graduating class only. Tickets will be available in the office starting May 18, 2020 and must be purchased by May 29, 2020. Breathalyzer tests may be conducted before this event. Any students under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not participate and may face additional consequences.
GRADUATION FEE – Graduation Fee is estimated to be $40.00. This amount must be paid before Wednesday, June 10th. Caps and gowns will be given out after the final marching to seniors that have paid their Graduation Fee. Please do not send any funds now.
TICKETS FOR GRADUATION
Tickets for graduation will be given to students starting on Tuesday, May 26, please see Mrs. Moore in the main office. Please check with your family prior to May 26, to determine the number of tickets you will need. Each graduate receives up to 8 tickets for seating in the Gym.
ADDITIONAL TICKETS FOR GRADUATION
If a graduate needs more than 8 tickets they can request them from Mrs. Moore. After all graduates receive their tickets the remainder of the tickets are divided among those who need more at the end of the last marching practice.
SENIOR WALK – After the large group marching practice, the seniors will be participating in Hampden Academy’s, Annual Senior Walk! We will have all graduating seniors board busses and depart for our RSU 22 schools, walking through Smith, Wagner, McGraw, Weatherbee and Reeds Brook schools before finishing up at HA.
SCHOLARSHIPS – Please read the following carefully:
If any senior is awarded a scholarship s/he is reminded that detailed instructions for each scholarship are given in the envelope which is presented at graduation. Please read these instructions carefully, keep the instructions, and follow them your first year in college. Do not throw the instructions away in the excitement of graduation day.
