Yearbook Orders – Please go to https://ybpay.lifetouch.com and enter School Code # 12983617. Yearbooks are on sale now until early spring. The cost does increase, so order early. The yearbook staff is working with a new publisher.
Senior Rafting Trip – May 31, 2017 – Informational meeting TBD
Graduation will be held Sunday, June 11 at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are required for admittance to graduation. “Doors” will open at 12:30.
Graduation – Graduation will be held in the gym at Hampden Academy. Students need to report to the multi-purpose room at 12:30 p.m.
In keeping with the tradition of Hampden Academy’s graduation, there will be no decoration to caps or gowns permitted. Breathalyzer tests may be conducted prior to graduation. Any student under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate in graduation. Inappropriate behavior during marching practice or during the Graduation Ceremony, may result in removal from the ceremony. All students must wear shoes. Senior contracts will be handed out in Academic Advisory and must be signed and returned to Mrs. Moore by Monday, June 5th.
Note: Please make all checks payable to Hampden Academy. If paying both graduation fees and class banquet, it is only necessary to make out one check in the amount of $50.00.
All seniors are welcome to attend the Senior Class Banquet held at the Morgan Hill Events Center on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. The price will be $15.00 per person which includes tax and tip. Tickets will be available in the office starting May 22, 2017 and must be purchased by June 2, 2017. Breathalyzer tests may be conducted before this event. Any students under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not participate and may face additional consequences.
Graduation Fee is $35.00. The fee plus the balance of the Senior Class account covers the cost of cap and gown. This amount must be paid before Thursday, June 8th marching practice. Caps and gowns will be given out after the final marching practice on Friday, June 9th to seniors that have paid their Graduation Fee.
TICKETS FOR GRADUATION
Tickets for graduation will be given to students starting on Tuesday, May 30, please see Mrs. Moore in the main office. Please check with your family prior to May 30, to determine the number of tickets you will need. Each graduate receives up to 8 tickets for seating in the Gym (white tickets).
ADDITIONAL TICKETS FOR GRADUATION
If a graduate needs more than 8 tickets they can request them from Mrs. Moore. After all graduates receive their tickets the remainder of the tickets are divided among those who need more at the end of the last marching practice.
SENIOR EXAM SCHEDULE
Graduates are expected to attend full days of school on June 6, 7 and 8. Graduates are expected to attend ALL classes each day, not just on exam periods.

The last full day of classes for graduates will be Thursday, June 8. Graduates will have small group marching practice on Thursday, June 8 period 2 and period 3 (list for groups enclosed) and the entire group will practice marching on Friday, June 9 starting at 8:10 a.m. Caps and gowns will be given out on June 9 after marching practice. Senior BBQ hosted by the parents of the Class of 2017 will be held after marching practice on Friday, June 9th by the turf field.

If any senior is awarded a scholarship s/he is reminded that detailed instructions for each scholarship are given in the envelope which is presented at graduation. Please read these instructions carefully, keep the instructions, and follow them your first year in college. Do not throw the instructions away in the excitement of graduation day.
PROJECT GRADUATION 2017: The Project Graduation Committee is planning a night full of activities for members of the senior class. The cost is $120.00 per student (this information has been mailed home over the past 4 years). Detailed information and permission slips will be send home shortly.
