YEARBOOK SENIOR PHOTO DEADLINE- Saturday, October 15th – Senior photos and baby photos are due. Please email [email protected].
Digital submissions are preferred. If you must submit a printed photo
please place in an envelope with student's name on it. The item will be
returned promptly after scanning. Please make sure to clearly label the
student's photos especially if a parent submitting, has a different last
name than the student.

Greetings Seniors, Parents, and Guardians!
This letter is to help seniors and their families organize upcoming important dates and deadlines. These dates are a crucial part of planning for your next step whether it’s applying to college, finding scholarships, joining the military, or entering the workforce.
Students who are applying to college can create an account on commonapp.org. We would suggest starting the application now. Please also have students keep track of their login information for the Common App and College Board accounts. This information is critical in order for counselors to help answer questions during senior meetings, as we do not have access to your account details/passwords.
Students who are planning to enter the military should contact a recruiter for the branch or branches they are interested in. Here is the most up-to-date list we have for area recruiters by branch.
Below, is a list of key dates for seniors and families to be aware of. In addition, here is a link to the Class of 2023 Google Calendar where we will post important dates and deadlines, as well as when college admissions counselors and military recruiters will be at school to meet with students.

We will be hosting several opportunities for seniors to get help with their post-secondary planning. These activities include:
- On-the-spot admissions sessions with representatives from Husson, University of Maine, Eastern Maine Community College, and others (Dates and times will be posted as they are confirmed on the Class of 2022 Google Calendar)
- ASVAB test - for career exploration or military entrance
- Military Day - recruiters from various branches will come and set up to talk with students about the opportunities they can provide
- College Essay Writing Lab with Mrs. Leithiser
Pizza Parties will be provided to:
1. The advisory with the highest percentage of college applicants/ ASVAB completions
2. The advisory with the highest completion rate of the FAFSA

Complete CSS Profile (if applicable - THIS IS NOT REQUIRED AT ALL COLLEGES)
October 4, 2022: 6 pm Financial Aid Night @Hampden Academy Performing Arts Center
October 11, 2022: “Transcript/Recommendation Request form” must be returned to Counselors for November 1 application deadlines to ensure timely arrival.
October 21, 2022: Virtual College Fair
October 25, 2022: “Transcript/Recommendation Request form” due to Counselors for November 15 application deadlines to ensure timely arrival.
October 27, 2022: Deadline to sign up for the ASVAB (see Mrs. Huston!)
